Well, look no further because during the half-term break on on Friday November 3rd, The Moon in Cardiff is opening its doors to young performers for an Open Mic event exclusively for under 18’s. Whether you’re a first-time performer or have been practising your craft for a while, this Diff Ambition is here to showcase your talent!

Why Attend?

The open mic event is not just about performing but also about connecting with like-minded young musicians, gaining experience (and confidence!) and expanding your musical network. You will also receive professional photography shots of you performing which can be beneficial for your future as an artist!

All Genres Welcome:

This open mic event at The Moon welcomes performers from all musical genres. Whether you’re into singing pop, rock, playing classical music or spitting grime or hip-hop, you are invited to perform. You can play original music or a cover!

No Experience Required:

No prior performance experience is necessary. The Moon’s stage is open to newcomers and first-time performers, encouraging everyone to share their passion and love for music. This is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, gain valuable experience, and receive positive feedback from a supportive audience!

How to Participate:

All you need to do is show up at The Moon at 12pm. Once you arrive, you can sign up to perform on the day. Sign up ends at 3pm. Bring any instruments you need – microphones will be provided. Bring your tracks on a USB. As this is an under 18 event, only clean tracks will be showcased.
