The Atsain practice network is a network for all organisations working with young people and music, including arts organisations, community organisations, music services, local agencies and funders.

It operates alongside Anthem Music Fund Wales’ Atsain fund, which supports projects for young people aged 0 – 25 engaging in music who experience barriers through life circumstances such as geographical issues, language, identity or background. However, organisations do NOT need to be funded by Atsain to join the network.

The purpose of the network is to enable knowledge sharing and foster collaboration throughout the whole sector in order to bring about strategic change. The group meets virtually four times a year and attendance is free.

Themes: Evaluating projects which address barriers to music for young people & peer-to peer funding surgery.

The next meeting will take place from 10am-12:30pm on Thursday 17 November via Zoom.

Interpretation will be available in Welsh and British Sign Language. Please let us know if you have any particular access requirements. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Anthem’s Programme Manager, Rebecca Rickard at rebecca.rickard@anthem.wales

Atsain is backed by investment from Youth Music, thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery, and Anthem’s resources with support from founding patrons and Welsh Government.
