Anthem Music Fund Wales is hosting a special live music fundraiser as FFWD>> Fest comes to the iconic Temple of Peace in Cardiff on Friday 20 March 2026, celebrating five years of Anthem’s Youth Forum (also known as FFWD>>).
Hosted by FFWD>> alumni, the event will bring together unique live performances and festival-style stalls for a special evening celebrating the young people who have taken part in the programme and are now making their mark across Wales.
Over the past five years, more than 80 young people aged 17–25 from across Wales have come through the programme, developing leadership skills, gaining insight into the music industry and helping shape opportunities for other young people in music. Together they are forming a growing network of young creatives influencing the future of the sector in Wales.
The evening will also include the launch of the 2026 FFWD>> cohort, welcoming the next group of young leaders who will help shape Anthem’s work and the wider youth music landscape in Wales.
Taking place during Big Give Arts for Impact week, the event forms part of Anthem’s Sustain Our Sound campaign, which is raising funds to support youth music opportunities across Wales. During the campaign, every pound donated up to the first £2,500 will be doubled through match funding, meaning ticket purchases and donations will have twice the impact. Helping provide a further 500+ young people with real experiences, upskilling and gig opportunities across Wales in 2026.
